On a rainy March afternoon, our boat finally arrived!

2008-03-31 First Day on Geist

Our first voyage on Geist Reservoir with our new boat went very well -- it's a lot different than a swimming pool! Photos compliments of Steve Yadlosky.

2008-04-13 Boat Launch

On April 13, 2008, Indy SurviveOars officially launched their boat and "dotted the eye" of the dragon head adorning the front. WIBC and WISH TV Daybreak were on hand to cover the launch, and we received mention by WISH Channel 8, WTHR Channel 13, RTV-6, FOX 59, the Indianapolis Star, the Noblesville Daily Times, the Indianapols Recorder, @Geist, and @Geist TV.
